When you are on Year 2 of trying to get through college without any loans, you have to do ghetto things (aside from taking Instagram selfies) like make your own lighting equipment for class.
But here lies my very own homemade softbox! Completed by 1am.
And now, off to sleep.
EDIT (9-16-13)
Here are a few pictures that were taken with this softbox. (rough edits)
I cut and glued 4 pieces of foamboard to make the sides and lined the inside with aluminum foil. I cut an old T-shirt and velcroed it to the front, and for the back piece I cut out foamboard and also lined it with aluminum foil, then cut a hole out for the lightbulb. For the light, I connected a CFL to a socket adapter, connected the socket adapter to an extension cord, then connected the extension cord to a wall outlet switch. The total cost was around $15 including all the junk i needed for the light :)
That is great! How did you make it?... looks like a real one.
